Meet John Pecina:
Techie Geek. Veteran. Family Man. Student Therapist.
If you’re anything like me then you understand firsthand that finding a healthy rhythm between surviving and thriving is much easier said than done.
That's why I’m committed to providing Men, Veterans, Couples, and Families a safe and supportive space to explore tough moments and equip you with the tools to navigate when life gets sticky.
A Little About Me...
If there’s water, I’m fishing! I enjoy fly fishing, and here in Texas, bring on the bass! I’m still on the hunt for that trophy fish.
What techie doesn’t enjoy a good game? Whether it’s going old school with The Legend of Zelda on Gameboy or rolling a number 7 in Catan, I’m always up for a game night with the family.
Any Lord of the Ring fans out there? Favorite quote from Gandalf, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
My family is blended! I’m happily married with 4 kids, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, a grandson, and another grandbaby on the way!
I’ve had my share of adventures, too, including time stationed at Pearl Harbor during my service in the U.S. Navy. After the military, I earned my MBA and am currently working in the healthcare IT space. I’m working on my Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University (Supervised by Diana Bigham LMFT-S), where I’m building the skills needed to help people just like you create lasting change through Marriage and Family Therapy.
